FDI has a fully equipped inspection lab consisting of one 3D CMM (coordinate measuring machine) and two optical comparators both with DRO’s and one with fiber optics. All equipment is calibrated and traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. FDI is currently working on ISO certification and inspects all parts and assemblies to those standards. When requested, inspection reports, material and process certifications are provided.
